Google Ambient Computing Vision Video

At Google, I led Visual Design across three workstreams: Google Account & Privacy, a Vision for the Future of Computing, and the Visual Design discipline itself.

For Account & Privacy, I was lead Visual Designer on a multi-year refresh of account settings and controls for 2B+ users. This work aligned with early Material 2, was featured at Google I/O 2018, and satisfied European GDPR regulators.

For my work in Ambient Computing, I led strategic initiatives around new OS paradigms — predictive of AI and connected devices. This work helped secure team funding, built partnerships with Android, Pixel, and Google TV, and seeded concepts that cohered into Material Design 3.

In the Visual Design discipline, I organized critique and community events that grew into an annual internal conference with 2,000 attendees. I founded the Visual Design Steering Council and owned Google's SF Design Week presence — producing 25+ events over four years for 2,000 external visitors.
